PARTNERSHIP WITH BIPOC FARMERS IN FORT BEND COUNTY.

May 22, 2021

@1046 Farms is located in Beasley, Texas, women-owned and black operated. We have partnered with this family farm to build and implement a farm-to-school program with literacy experiences that are multidimensional and multisensory. We are driven to engage children in grades K-6 in the agriculture space through reading.

Cheryl E. McKinley Hill, M.Ed - Founder

At the helm of After The Story, Inc. is Cheryl E. McKinley Hill, M.Ed. With over 40+ years in education in the San Antonio Public Schools and Public School of the Greater Houston Area; 90% of her career was centered as an Education Generalist, Reading-Writing Literacy Specialist, English as a Second Language Specialist, and School Librarian.

Poised to impact the very demographics her programming through the nonprofit will be focused.
